Yes, they are all USDA and QAI certified organic. Spectrum is proud to offer the first organic specialty flavored mayonnaise products in the natural foods category. Since third party organic certifiers disallow GE ingredients, the oil used in this product is by definition non-GE, but we double check this via independent 3rd party testing as part of Spectrum's stringent Non-GE Verification Program. ![]() Why aren't Spectrum mayonnaise products vacuum packed? Mayonnaise is a very stable product. In addition to the stable nature of oil, the pH and acidity levels from vinegar and other ingredients contribute to mayonnaise's stability. And vacuum packing can actually cause separation of ingredients. All mayonnaise products need to refrigerated once opened. ![]() If mayonnaise is stable, why is refrigeration important? It is cross-contamination by other ingredients that makes it important to use care in storing mayonnaise.
